Mission, Vision and Values
Intermezzo is a 501(c)(3) that provides music education in north Denver and northern suburbs—both ensemble and private lessons—regardless of financial status. We offer opportunities for undergrad music students to teach ensembles and private lessons. We fill the gap left by cancelled music programs in public schools and support existing programs. We are a safety-net for at-risk youth. Intermezzo works to increase creativity, confidence, self-accountability, and team-building skills for each student.
To inspire and empower a diverse population of students through music.
“Music is the great uniter. Something that people who differ on everything and anything else can have in common.”
― Sarah Dessen
To provide a safe environment for all students from all communities while instilling a lifelong love of music, the arts, and learning.
